First Aid- CPR-C/AED. Course Options

Option 1: 

Blended First Aid/CPR Learning

When a participant takes a Red Cross blended First Aid/CPR learning course, the program consists of two segments: an online self-paced knowledge portion, followed by a scheduled in-person skills application component with a certified Instructor. You will be spending almost half the time of normal training in a classroom

  •  You can Study/Review the online portion of the course at your preferred date/time
  •  You can Study/Review the online segment of the course a little at a time or all together
  • You can Study/Review the online section of the course in the comfort of your home

Intermediate - Standard First Aid including CPR/AED 

This 16 hour course is spread out over two consecutive in class days, and includes CPR Level C skills and certification.

​Comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level C, AED, prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine. 

 Recertification's

The following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:
  • You must bring your valid/current Standard First Aid or Re-Certified Standard First Aid certificate to the course. 
  • You are permitted to attend a recertification course if the recertification course is prior to your expiry date on the card. 
  • Emergency First Aid does not qualify for Re-Certification.
 

 H2S Alive - Blended Online & Skills 

This is a  course that deals with the hazards of hydrogen sulphide under the administration of Energy Safety Canada.  Classroom time is used for initial response strategy, use of respiratory protective equipment (SCBA & SABA), detection of H2S, rescue techniques and rescue breathing and review of case studies.  Certification is valid for three years. Call for course information.​
